Get a trip back to the 80s with the insanely fast, insanely difficult action of Futuridium EP, one of the hardest game on the App Store!

Futuridium EP is a retro fast paced shoot’em up with a modern twist, amazing 3D graphic and an adrenaline pumping 45 minutes original soundtrack.

What the press says:
"Piloting a nimble one-man fighter craft and taking on a fleet of epic armed-to-the-teeth alien dreadnoughts has never been so much fun." - indiegames.com

"An amazing debut from an exciting new indie studio" - rgcd.co.uk

"Fun as hell, and I can’t stop playing. Seriously, somebody help me." - indiestatik.com

You are a lone starship pilot who get lost in a dimensional loop just before a battle: with a limited and constantly depleting energy bar your only hope is to fly as fast as possible over enormous space dreadnoughts and destroy all the cyan power cubes, replenishing your energy tank and revealing the ship’s power core, which must be destroyed to move to the next ship.

- No special powers, no bonuses: only the player reflexes count. Your ship, your lasers, your ability!
- You can stop and turn your ship 180° at any time, an essential ability
- No speed control: you always fly as fast as possible...

Game features:
- 13 levels
- 11 original music tracks, for a 45 minutes original soundtrack. You can skip them in games like a jukebox.
- A new energy based gameplay mechanic
- 5 different gameplay speeds, unlockable finishing the game. The game can get crazy fast...
- 4 different graphic skins
- Peculiar graphic style, full of colours and glitchy full screen special effects
- Full GameCenter support, with online leaderboards and achievements
- A credit system: destroy cubes to get in game credits to continue and other goodies
- Cool easter eggs!

Are you up to the challenge?

Pros and cons of Futuridium EP app for iPhone and iPad

Futuridium EP app good for

This is my favorite game in the app store! Its challenging the music is awesome and the graphics are unique!!
This is a great unique game. I at first thought it would be like starfox, but its entertaining. 1.Running a base on a planet would be a great option. 2. I have been trying to find out where to find the soundtrack to download (I do like the jukebox ability though)
An amazing game, so challenging and entertaining. The graphics is awesome and the soundtrack really tripping. A few bucks for a game retro and breakthrough at the same time. You have to buy it!

Some bad moments

I dont usually write reviews unless a game is ridiculously terrible or ridiculously good. This game? Ridiculously good. The art style and the music is amazing. The gameplay is fluid and fun. The controls take some getting used to, with the occasional accidental 180 degree turn around of the ship because you missed the "fire" button, but everything else about the game is solid. A space shooter with a difficulty level that can only be matched by a game like super hexagon. Genius. Buy this game if you want a challenging masterpiece.
Uridium is one of my all time favorite games. Futuridium successfully transfers the gameplay to 3D. I wish the animation for the ship flipping was more exciting (it was always the coolest aspect of the original), but otherwise - awesome game.
DONT BUY THIS GAME Im on iPod touch 4g and I cant play it because whenever Im in the loading screen it crashes. Every time. I hope that mixedbag fixes this soon because its not like I have the time to buy games that dont fricking work
Awkwardly placed buttons always try to make you gift to a friend
The ship and camera react too dramatically to the users input. The camera shift when you move your ship makes lining up your ship with the target harder than it needs to be.
It was nice seeing retro graphics displayed in this way. Unfortunately the controls feel "off." Having the ability to adjust control sensitivity would be nice. The fire button feels cramped. Youll find your self pressing outside the button over and over again causing you shop to randomly crash into objects of the game.
